Web Prophets is celebrating 20 years

Web Prophets is celebrating 20 years!!

Thank you to everyone for supporting us during 2 tremendous decades! A lot has changed over that time with the web constantly evolving.

In our time in business we have seen:

1999

Web Prophets launched in an online world predominantly ruled by AOL, MSN and Hotmail.

2000 – 2004

Wikipedia, Skype, Apple iTunes, LinkedIn, MySpace and Gmail launched

2005 – 2009

Facebook went public, the first iPhone was released and YouTube, Twitter & App Store launched

2010 – 2014

Pinterest & Instagram launched. In general 15% of users accessed websites via their mobile phones

2015 – 2019

Scrolling to find content became a thing, political campaigns start being won/lost online, anything we need is a phone click away, home delivery for dinner is the norm.

2020 onwards

So who can predict what the future holds as we say hello to IoT (Internet of Things), Augmented / Virtual Reality, AI & Machine Learning.

All we know is change is happening faster than ever; and the next 5 years is going to be as exciting as the last 20 all put together.
